MasterCard Overjoy of Living
I created the back-end Actionscript 3.0 code for this gift-selection tool, which was on Yahoo's site during Christmas 2008. The customer selected what type of person they wanted to purchase a gift for (man or woman), and then based on that selection was presented a series of interests for the gift recepient. Once the customer selected the gift recipient's interests, they were presented with a series of potential gifts which they could then choose to purchase.
The whole thing was driven by a series of easily updatable XML files - each previous selection called the correct XML file, which in turn, built the elements of the screen and presented the screen to the customer.
