These full-featured product demos contained heavy use of Actionscript to capture ad codes to determine what promotion brought the viewer to the demo and to provide VCR-style controls to pause, fast forward, rewind the demo and mute the narration. Recorded demo narration and processed resulting sound files in order to deliver the clearest possible sound with the smallest possible file size. Created ColdFusion web pages to serve up the Flash content and to check the user’s system for the correct version of Flash and capture the ad code passed to the demo from the page URL.
